Home School Agreement
All families who join the Hampton Lucy Family are requested to sign to Home School Agreement.
The document is intended to outline what parents/carers, teachers and pupils will do so that your child can arrive at school ready to learn.
The Pupil Will:
- Arrive at school ready to learn;
- Treat everyone at school (adults and children) with respect;
- Take good care of the equipment and building;
- Be polite and helpful to others;
- Do all my classwork and home learning as well as I can and hand it in on time.
The Parent Will:
- Ensure that my child goes to school regularly, on time and properly equipped;
- Support the school's values;
- Ensure that home learning is complete;
- Inform the school of any successes, achievements, concerns or issues that might affect my child's work or behavior;
- Attend Parent’s Evenings and discussions about my child’s progress;
- Read and abide by the school’s policies on Behaviour, Parental Code of Conduct and Parental use of Social Networking and Internet Sites Policies.
The School Will:
- Celebrate and recognise pupil's achievements:
- Be open and welcoming and offer opportunities for you to become involved in this school community;
- Contact parents/carers if there is a problem with attendance or punctuality;
- Provide a balanced curriculum and address the individual needs of your child;
- Aim to achieve high standards of work and behaviour through building good relationships and developing a sense of responsibility;
- Discuss with parents any concerns or problems that affect their child's work or behaviour;
- Provide an annual written report of your child's progress and arrange Parents’ Evenings during which progress will be discussed;
- Keep parents/carers informed about school activities through regular emails.
