Religious Education

Love on another, as I have loved you

John 13:34

Our aim is to develop children's understanding of the world's religions. Through religious education, children will learn about different religions and their traditions, practices and beliefs. It also promotes children's tolerance and mutual respect in a diverse society.

This document outlines the big questions covered in our RE lessons at Hampton Lucy C of E Primary School, which are based on the Warwickshire Agreed Syllabus.

For more information on our philosophy of the teaching of RE see our RE policy.

RE Co-ordinator Mrs Caroline Perkins

‘RE raises challenging questions for children to grasp, such as the meaning and purpose of life, and the concepts of right and wrong. It can be a way of encouraging children to think about others, particularly those who are less fortunate.’
