Our aim is for the children to develop their knowledge and love for learning a Modern Foreign Language. French is taught in a fun environment, key vocabulary and grammar is acquired through a variety of songs, games and activities which focus on all four key language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing.

How we teach Modern Foreign Languages
At Hampton Lucy C of E Primary School, we base our French curriculum on tailored, bespoke lessons and with additional input from the Rachel Hawkes scheme of work. The scheme encourages a positive attitude to learning a language and an appreciation of its culture.
